Junior Research Group in Translational Bioinformatics
The University of Tübingen is seeking applications for the position of group leader of a Junior Research Group in the area of Translational Bioinformatics, with a focus on the application of bioinformatics to questions in infection biology and microbiota-host interactions. This is a five year (3+2) position with a tenure track option, with funding for a PhD student or laboratory technician and research consumables. To encourage interdisciplinary research, the group leader will be affiliated with the Center for Bioinformatics Tübingen and the Inter-Faculty Institute of Microbiology and Infection Medicine Tübingen. The newly founded core facility for Quantitative Biology Center in Tübingen will provide an additional platform for interdisciplinary research.
